As wort.lu reported on Tuesday-morning, Sparta and head-coach Kevin Magdowski have decided to end the contract of the German head-coach. According to the club, Magdowski will take over a new challenge in Germany.
Sparta has suffered a big loss to Heffingen last Saturday (70:95-loss) and is in a difficult position in the play-off-race.
Assistant Thorsten Freiheit will take over as interim head coach.
After Pires (Amicale), Magdowski is the second coach to lose his job in the men’s Total league this season.
