On Wednesday-evening, Basket Esch won its game against Heffingen which gives them the chance to compete for the first place in the standings on Saturday-evening. In fact, the Musel Pikes (current leader) and Basket Esch (1 point behind the opponent) will face in a head-to-head meeting to determine which team will finish the play-offs as the number 1 seed. This could be very important if both teams meet in the finals later, because the number one team will have home-court-advantage.

– Esch took an early lead and dominated the game, they won every quarter and scored at least 23 points in every quarter.
– rugg led Esch with 28 points, rodenbourg added 18.
T71 – Etzella 74:80
– T71 is still winless in the playoffs and needs a win against Racing on Saturday to have home-court-advantage in the 1/4-finals.
– Etzella earns the third place in the standings for the 1/4-finals!

On Tuesday, Racing won a close game against the Musel Pikes, 74:67 and ended the Pikes’ 10-game-winning streak.
