The first game in the Total League of year 2020 ended with a surprise as Contern (ranked 10th before the Christmas break) was able to beat Racing on the road: 84:92!
Weaver (game-high 27) and Morgan (21) combined for 48 points while Andjelkovic added 19 points for Contern that made 10 threes as a team. Racing was led by Harper’s 27.
Racing’s record drops to 7:7 while Contern won its 4th game of the season (10 losses).
Birenbaum still missed the game because of his suspension.
