A few days before the start of the 2020/21 NBA season, a big free agency decision has been taken by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the current most valuable player (MVP) of the league. In fact, the player from Greece agreed to a supermax extension with his team Milwaukee Bucks.
The contract is worth 228 million dollars over 5 years!
“This is my home, this is my city. I’m blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years,” Antetokounmpo wrote on social media. “Let’s make these years count. The show goes on, let’s get it.” were Giannis’ words in a statement on social media. The 26-year-old superstar was drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
